Basic Computers Skill 1-2-3-S

Basic Computing Skill (BCS) Level 1-2-3

The Basic Computing Skills (BCS) program is designed to help students build a strong foundation in computer use through three progressive levels. The course begins with essential computer concepts, including how personal computers work, operating systems, email communication, file management, and using Zoom for online learning.

As students advance, they gain practical experience with important Microsoft tools such as OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Throughout the course, students learn how to create and edit documents like business letters and resumes using Microsoft Word, organize and track information such as work hours or simple finances in Excel, and develop basic presentations with PowerPoint.

They will also learn how to store, share, and review files using OneDrive. In addition, students will receive support in creating a Microsoft Outlook account, which provides access to free online Microsoft applications.

Students who successfully complete the program will also receive a free one-year subscription to Professor Teaches Web, an interactive online tutorial for Microsoft Office 2019 and Windows 10.
